So you've been getting your financial house in order and now you're ready to find the perfect home. Start by searching the beautifully renovated and affordable homes we have available through the Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP). While you're identifying the home that's just right for you, we recommend working on the following items below as well!

 - Complete homebuyer training. Our homes are part of the NSP program, which requires that all homebuyers complete a HUD Approved Homebuyer Education Course. For your convenience, we have provided a list of organizations that offer the course.  Don't wait! Take this class NOW!

- Get prequalified for a primary mortgage. Purchasing one of our homes requires that you use our approved lenders - and we have several to choose from. Start the process by contacting one of these lenders and ask them to pre-qualify you for a mortgage.

-Work with a real estate professional to help guide you through the process! The process can be challenging but rewarding! The process includes finding the home, getting an inspection, getting an appraisal, making an offer, preparing for closing, and meeting the requirements of down payment assistance programs like the NSP program! You will appreciate having a trained real estate professional to guide you through the process! If you do NOT have a Realtor, we have a list of Realtors who have completed training with our NSP program.
