Veterans Program
ANDP has designed a special initiative to meet the housing needs of Veterans in our region. Our Veterans Program offers affordable new and newly renovated homes and up to $15,000 in homebuyer assistance!
Program Overview
Buyers must meet the following qualifications to qualify for the ANDP Veterans program.

Be Honorably Discharged, Active Duty Military, Reservist, Guard Member or Gold Star family member,

Must qualify for a mortgage by an approved lender,

Must not own another home,

Must make purchased home primary residence,

Buyer NOT required to be a first-time home buyer,

Complete a HUD-approved homebuyer education course,

Meet income qualifications based on HUD Income Limits*

Program Benefits
Homes in the program are reserved specifically for Veterans, Active Duty and Gold Star Family members.

All homes listed for sale have a two-week first-look period when only offers from Veterans or active duty military personnel are accepted.

Homes are priced affordably for families at or below 120% Area Median Income.

Homes are either new construction or fully renovated and move-in ready.

Qualifying Veterans purchasing a home through ANDP’s Veteran Program will also receive homebuyer assistance in the amount of $15,000 to support closing costs.

Veterans interested in purchasing a home through the ANDP Veteran Program are required to use one of our approved lenders.

*Maximum Allowed Household Income
To ensure that homebuyer assistance is directed toward those in need of such assistance, our programs have limits on the total amount of household income to qualify for assistance. Our programs typically fall into two categories, those earning under 80% of Area Median Income and those earning below 120% of Area Median Income. Our Veterans Program allows a total household income of 120% of AMI, with a sliding scale based on family size. See the table below. Income from all household members over the age of 18 counts toward the maximum allowed income.
